United Way of Sumner County is proud to be governed by a local, active, volunteer Board of Directors which oversees the strategic vision of our organization and our financials. Members serve a three-year term before rolling off the board for at least a year. This year we have seven board members rolling off: Alana Hibbler, Jimmy Johnston, Grace Oliver, Mary Kathryn Oliver, Michele Owens, Amy Ray, and Norman Rubio. At our June 8, 2023, meeting we celebrated them and honored them for their service to the local community as UWSC Board Members. Each member received a plaque that said:
We also honored Pat Conner, UWSC Board Chair who will roll-off her position as of June 30, 2023, to become Immediate Past Chair for an additional year of service on the UWSC Board. She was presented with a potted Money Tree. Len Silverman will step into the role of UWSC Board Chair as of July 1, 2023.
