More than $3,500 in Items Collected During Mom & Baby Care Drive

diapers from 2024 UWSC Mom & Baby Care Drive

The 2024 United Way of Sumner County Mom & Baby Care Drive collected more than 500 diapers, wipes, feminine care products, and personal care items valued at over $3,500!   Twelve UWSC partner agencies who serve moms and babies in need benefited from the donations.  They include Cumberland Crisis Pregnancy Center, CASA, Amazing Grace Mission, Community Child Care, Gallatin CARES, Gallatin Daycare, Grace Place Ministry, Gallatin Shalom Zone, HomeSafe, Neighborhood Health at Salvus Center, Nurses for Newborns, and Unlimited Potential.

In addition to the companies who served as public drop-off locations, five more businesses/groups joined the drive with internal collection campaigns amongst employees and/or members.  They included Aladdin Temp-Rite; B3 (Business, Bonding, Beer) Networking Group; First United Methodist Church of Hendersonville; ITW StampTech; and Primrose School of Hendersonville.

Thank you to everyone who donated, volunteered, coordinated, or collected for this drive!  Your actions help us ensure that we live in a community where ALL can thrive!
