stethoscope with EKG printout

Mr. J, is a long term patient who lives below the Federal Poverty Level. He credits his being alive today to the Neighborhood Health at Salvus Center (Formerly the Salvus Center.)  Mr. J was experiencing pain, fatigue, and shortness of breath. He went to two different medical providers who 1) would not see him unless he paid $200+ up front as he didn't have insurance; and 2) told him it was not a significant issue and he needed to get in better shape.  Mr. J went to Neighborhood Health at Salvus Center and, upon his examination and understanding of Mr. J's history, the provider did an EKG in the exam room, and determined Mr. J was at eminent risk for a cardiac event. He sent Mr. J directly to the ER where he had open heart surgery that saved his life. Neighborhood Health at Salvus Center treats all patients, regardless of their ability to pay or their insurance status.
