UNITED WAY OF SUMNER COUNTY OFFERS
CARING CLUB OPPORTUNITY TO LOCAL MERCHANTS
United Way of Sumner County is very pleased to offer local merchants an opportunity to participate in the Caring Club Card Program-a nationally recognized United Way discount program.
Local businesses that become Caring Club Merchants in the Caring Club donor recognition program provide fixed year-round discounts towards merchandise and/or services to Caring Club Members. Caring Club Merchants' only cost is the discount they elect to offer Caring Club Members upon presenting their Caring Club Cards at Merchant's business. Caring Club Members are donors contributing $150 or more to United Way of Sumner County, and are frequently business and community leaders who play an active role in our local economy.
Participating Caring Club Merchants are provided with a Caring Club Merchant window-cling to display at their entrance, demonstrating their role as a United Way Supporter while drawing new customers to their business. Presentations by United Way of Sumner County made to donors and potential donors in local workplace campaigns include promotion of the Caring Club with a listing of participating merchants. Caring Club Merchants will be featured in campaign marketing materials when appropriate, as well as in periodic promotional program features in the monthly United Way of Sumner County e-newsletter.
Within this unique "win-win" situation for the community, Caring Club Merchants gain increased business traffic while Caring Club Members enjoy local discounts. Caring Club Membership benefits encourage increased donations to United Way of Sumner County, which in turn help numerous Sumner County Residents by the United Way's Programs and Services funded within the need areas of Education, Health, Income and Rebuilding Lives.
